The South African Reserve Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Elijah Mazibuko as the Head of the Exchange Control Department, effective 1 August 2009. Mr Mazibuko joined the South African Reserve Bank on 1 January 2000 and has been with the Exchange Control Department since 1 December 2001, where he served in various capacities. Before his current promotion, Mr Mazibuko served as Deputy General Manager in the Exchange Control Department.
